What's for dinner

To all my local friends and family who may still be out of power or are catching up after the ice storm. I wanted to provide some tips that might be helpful for you without power or hot water. During the few days we had no power we did our best to keep our fridge and freezer shut to preserve as much of the cold in. I moved any extra bags of milk and cheese into the freezer to keep it cooler longer. We tried to eat up any perishables like salads, or lunch meats in the first couple of days. Following that we had made some tuna wraps that didn’t require any cooking. Beans salads are also a great go to that don’t require any cooking. Chop up those veggies and make a simple vinaigrette dressing. Stay safe and reach out here if you need any more meal inspo to get you through.
