Who doesn't love a book sale — especially when it can help support and raise money for a great cause - THE LIBRARY! The Barrie Public Library is hosting its third annual BIG Spring Book Sale Friday, May 23 - Sunday, May 25 at the Downtown branch.
Last year's BIG Spring Book Sale raised $5,313 !

Whether you prefer mystery novels, romance or a good spy thriller, there will be something for everyone at The Barrie Chapter of the Huntington Society of Canada’s Book Sale of Hope for Huntington’s Disease on Saturday, May 10 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 22 Pae Dr. Proceeds will go to The Huntington Society of Canada for family services and research.

My whole family loves to read. Lucky kids had these awesome book bags made for them to hang on their beds, to ensure they always have their favourite books close by at all times!

What do you read when you travel? For me, I prefer "easy beach reads"! Also - these book sleeves are a great way to keep your books from getting crushed in your carry on.

Love the BPL On The Go kiosks like this one located at East Bayfield Recreation Centre! Great for grabbing a new book when I've got time to waste during a kid's swimming lesson! Have you tried one yet?
