Is it just me, or do other Barrie drivers have trouble seeing around corners in this city? Some of it’s the weird road configurations of particular intersections; the roads just aren’t lined up to make seeing other drivers easy. At Innisfil and Adelaide streets, near Shear Park, is one example. Other locations are bad in the winter because of snowbanks, some were bad after the ice storm because there were so many branches out at curbs for collection. And it’s bad now because we’ve had so much rain the whole city is growing like a jungle. Tree leaves are stretching and growing onto the streets. So what’s to be done? Just keep inching out until you can see, which requires patience, which is sometimes in short supply.
