Thanks so much to the wonderful team at Aspira-Barrie Waterford residence for supporting the Alzheimer Society of Simcoe County! They hosted their own walk in support of our programs and services, and that money goes directly to help people living with dementia here. Nice work.
Staff and residents from Aspira Barrie Waterford raised $508.05 for people living with dementia in Simcoe County.

The Walk is being held on Sunday May 25th at Springwater Park and we really need the communities support this year to keep providing all the free services to Simcoe County to those affected by Alzheimer Disease and other Dementias. Such a good cause, 100% of the proceeds from the Mission Thrift Stores go to the Bible League Canada. Those proceeds are then put back into our community in the form of children's camps, literacy programs and prison missions. Such a heartwarming story, all powered by the kindness of volunteers!! My favourite quote from this story comes from the manager David Potter, "We see volunteering as a cure for loneliness." So heartwarming! ♥️
