Showcasing the talent of both award-winning and emerging designers, the inaugural Afro Fusion Community Fashion Show will be held on Sunday, April 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Five Points Theatre, located at 1 Dunlop St. E., in Barrie. Tickets cost $45 to $75 and are available online. All funds raised will support Simcoe County Black Coalition. The stage will feature Afro-Canadian artists and designers including Kyle Gervacy, Diséiye, Qweenfecy Clothing, KLXTN Studio and Ashante Blackwood. The event will be co-hosted by musical artists and performers Bianca Bridge and Emmm. An after-party will follow from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at LVX Beauty, located at 16 Dunlop St. E., Barrie. Access to the after-party is included with either a general gold ticket, VIP ticket or a sponsorship package ticket.
