Rockin' Davestock
The fourth annual DAVESTOCK – a day of music, love and appreciation - will take place on Saturday, June 21 at the Queens Hometown Bar on Dunlop Street in Barrie.
The event is organized by friends and family of Dave Yole, who passed away suddenly on Dec. 4, 2019. Dave was a local musician, environmental advocate and avid cyclist.
The event will start at 2 p.m. with an hour-long acoustic stage featuring a number of local performers including Steve McDonald, Paul Morneault, Craig Markle, Kevin Harradine, Mike Zacharko and a band comprised of Dave’s friends.
At 4 p.m., things will switch gears with a slate of bands scheduled to hit the stage:
4 p.m. - The Mad Hatterz Band
5 p.m. - PJ Wilson and The Midnight Hour
6 p.m. - Lookout Nelson
In keeping with Dave’s spirit, the event is free, but donations will be gladly accepted. In addition, there will be a merchandise table – featured bandanas, hats, pins and t-shirts – with all the proceeds going to Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka.

PJ Wilson and The Midnight Hour will perform at Davestock this Saturday, June 21, at the Queen's Hometown Bar in Barrie.
